Gwinnett Village CID
    – A Decade of Progress

Alyssa Sinclair Davis
Program Director, Gwinnett Village CID

Community Improvement Districts (CID) are some of the most powerful and effective public-private partnerships in existence today. Come learn how the Gwinnett Village CID impacts your business:
  • A look back at the CID's accomplishments since its formation in 2006
  • The results of the Great Exchange on Transportation - Gwinnett wants options
  • What's next - how we can connect major redevelopments in Gwinnett with a "Beltline" style vision

As Program Director for the Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District (CID), Alyssa oversees plans and projects to promote economic development and improve quality of life in southwest Gwinnett County. She works to implement a wide range of transportation improvements including road, trail, intersection, streetscaping, bridge, and transit projects. Alyssa also manages the CID’s redevelopment incentives, code enforcement, and grant submittals.

Alyssa completed her undergraduate degree at Davidson College in North Carolina. After graduating, she joined Teach for America and taught in the South Bronx for three years while also earning a Master’s in Teaching from Pace University in New York City. After teaching for two more years in the Atlanta Public Schools, she earned her Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Alyssa has worked for the CID since 2009. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett, and a founding board member of Advance Atlanta, a grassroots advocacy coalition working to promote regional transit connectivity.
