Event Description:
“A Fork in the Road: Where Travel, Food & Farming Meet”

As we head into summer, we’re taking a refreshing detour from our typical deep dives into economics, government, and public policy—to explore the fun, flavorful, and surprisingly vital world of agritourism.

Join us for a lively breakfast with David Zelski, creator, host, and Emmy award-winning producer of multiple travel and food shows including A Fork in the RoadAnglers & Appetites, and PBS’s Curious Traveler. David will share behind-the-scenes stories from the road, highlight some of Georgia’s most unique and inviting destinations, and explain how local farms, food, and outdoor experiences are helping power Georgia’s
economy.

You’ll come away inspired, entertained—and maybe even ready to plan your next weekend getaway! Whether you’re a travel lover, foodie, business owner, or economic development enthusiast, this event is sure to deliver a fresh perspective and a great time.

David Zelski is an award-winning television producer, host, and storyteller with a passion for showcasing the people and places that make communities unique.
